Just to see this place you think Gas Station with food, but no, seafood market and restaurant. Great Food, staff is so friendly. They do close early so get there early or take home. I love their daily lunch specials. Lunch time they are packed with a lot of locals, should tell you something right there. Locally owned and operated. And across the Dam they have another more restuarant style place. Most people prefer the gas station.

Their food is so delicious , I have told everyone I know how good it is.

One of the best seafood market/restaurants in the area and that I have eaten at.

If you don't mind atmosphere as this particular location was at a gas station, this is the place for the best fried shrimp and fried oysters ever at a reasonable price. Our lunch bunch have made the trip from Madison a couple times and one couple tries to pay a visit here almost every week. It's that good. FYI, I think the restroom has been out-of-order every time we've been there. They have a full-blown restaurant on the water but we prefer the food more at the gas station location.

Best fried shrimp in north Alabama. Excellent seafood gumbo. One reviewer said this place is on the water. That location is south of this location across the river about 3 miles. Both locations are run by the same folks.
